Camp Lakey Gap, Black Mountain, NC 28711

Camp Lakey Gap is specifically designed for individuals on the autism spectrum. Campers come for a week of residential camp and experience all of the activities that they would at any other camp, but they have a 1:1 or 1:2 staff ratio and the activities are adapted so that they can understand and participate in them as independently as possible. Most campers leave with increased self esteem and more confidence due to the individualized attention and the specialized programming.
